Animal Chiropractic is a drug-free, non-surgical approach to increasing function within your animals body, resulting in decreased pain, increased health and wellbeing of your animal.

The body is controlled and coordinated by the nervous system, which is protected and housed by the spine. The nerves that exit at each level of the spine have very specific jobs, they control a range of functions, including skin sensation, organ function and muscle strength and tone. When there is a dysfunction or loss of motion caused by physical, chemical and emotional stress like knocks, falls, surgery, medication and other daily activities, then the nervous system is often affected, which can then result in an inability to move and repair correctly. Animals can’t tell us this with words, so they do with:

– Resistance to being mounted/ridden

• Behaviour changes
• Altered performance
• Pain or stiffness when being touched or moved
• Lameness, altered gait or shortened stride
• Changes in posture
• Difficulty or inability to take a lead
• Bucking, rearing or biting
• Picking up their feet
• Resistance to jumping, climbing stairs or getting in the car
• Pinning ears back
• Difficulting flexing at the poll
