We’re always told we “need to drink enough water”, but why?

Water is essential for our health. It protects our organs and tissues, regulates body temperature, lubricates joints, and so much more! If you find yourself feeling lightheaded, overly tired, or suffering from a dry mouth then you are most likely dehydrated.
We know it can be tempting to reach for a bottle of fizzy or other sweetened beverages, especially when we’re exposed to so many drinks that claim to be ‘healthy’.
It’s easy to forget to drink enough water, due to the pressures of our daily lives, but why not grab a water bottle that gives you allocated times throughout the day to stay hydrated, or maybe download an app that gives you hourly prompts.
